Established in 1969 by Ernest Rowell Sr., and then owned by Ron Weimert (son in law) the shop is still family-owned and operated. Ron's son, Ernest's grandson Darrin Weimert, now carries the tradition and continues to incorporate the ethics of honesty, integrity.
Customer satisfaction is what has brought the business to where it is today. Following in the footsteps of  Mr. Rowell, improving service for the local farmers and hunters continues to be the goal of Rowell's Butcher Shop Incorporated

AS OF MARCH 2018 WE WILL NO LONGER ACCEPT "BROUGHT IN" MEAT WITHOUT THE PROCESSING OF YOUR CARCASS DUE TO LACK OF LABOR AND HIGH DEMAND.
**THIS INCLUDES ALL EXTRA PROCESSING AND SMOKING SERVICES.
**EXTRAS INCLUDE: 
LINK SAUSAGE, BOLOGNA, JERKY, SMOKING BACON, HAM, ANY AND ALL CURING, SMOKING OR COOKING MEAT SERVICES. 

**MEAT TO BE GROUND, SLICED, CUT UP, SEASONED LOOSE AND OR PACKAGED ONLY IS OKAY AND CHARGED OUR BLOCK FEE AND OR PER POUND PROCESSING PRICE.

BOLOGNA AND JERKY PROCESSED AT ROWELL'S FROM YOUR DEER WILL BE TAKEN FROM SEPTEMBER 1, UNTIL DECEMBER 25TH EACH YEAR
SORRY FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE.

Please call ahead for an appointment May thru August with at least 4-day notice for drop off and processing your Beef, Hogs, and crop damage Deer.

That is cheaper than other suppliers sell them for of this quality. Wanna stock up? Call me for a special price for quantity.

We are not a Retail Butcher Shop. We are a USDA approved Professional Processor.

For lack of freezer space, we ask you please pick up your items within a week. Thank You!

WE DO NOT FIELD DRESS DEER!
Please Do Not drop off a Deer into our bay without a Name, Phone Number, Confirmation Number 
AND PROPER FIELD DRESSING 
We ask that you remove the urine sack for a lot of times it runs into your meat... And NO BUTT HOLES, Core it out, please! Along with washing out your deer especially if you
have gut shot your deer are good habits to get into for your safety and others.
We are not allowed by law to have deer without a confirmation number or proper field dressing at our location. 
We call DNR to resolve these issues.
